Working as the Technology Security Manager, you will be responsible for the review and analysis of IT security requirements, work with senior team members to develop integrated plans to protect corporate assets and information technology, and provide appropriate non-management resources where appropriate to conduct the daily IT security operations. This will include researching, recommending, documenting, and coordinating implementation of changes to policies, procedures, facilities, and systems to enhance IT security as well as developing and delivering corporate security awareness training for users and technical security training for systems administrators. You will facilitate compliance with company security policies, practices and legal requirements.
Responsible for supporting the CSO Hosting and Application Services Security Team operational duties. Follow standard practices and procedures with own tea to design, implement, and support a security vulnerability and intrusion detection methodology and process. Participates in audit, compliance, testing, remediation and assessment activities. Interacts with peers outside of immediate team or department up to and including first line management. Must have a solid understanding and working knowledge of networking, security, server hardware and operating systems as well as the interdependencies between them.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • May be responsible for day-to-day supervision of non-management employees including coaching, providing on-the-job and formal training, reference materials, procedures, and system documentation
  • May interface with other stakeholders including vendors, application development and technical support staff, and clients
  • May provide inventory and asset management resources to the IT security operation, including office administrative supplies, security specific resources such as SecurID cards or cryptographic key management, specialized security software, etc.
  • Must possess working knowledge of Security Vulnerabilitiy assessments; Information Security Standards and Practices; firewall technology and administration; knowledge of Intrusion Detection system technology and adminstration; public-key infrastructure technology.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Network monitoring capabilities, data analysis, strategic thinker, enabling trouble isolation and resolution
  • Willingness to own issues until problems are resolved
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong TCP/IP background
  • In-depth understanding of network protocols
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science of Bachelor of Arts Degree
  • One to four years of technology experience
  • Familiar with wide range of Network Logs and their interpretations
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
  • CISSP, CPA, CIA , CISA or Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) certification
