AT&T-Lead IT Client Consultant

Description

Will act as a senior member of the Global Customer Support team. Will work to ensure all ATT Support standards are in place across all installed customer bases and continually review/improve support processes through automation. Will be escalation point for complex problem and troubleshooting efforts and occasionally interface directly with client technical teams.

The candidate must be a self-starter experienced at assuming responsibility for issues without being directly requested to do and used to working with little supervision. The candidate must demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, problem solving, organization, documentation and process management skills while meeting the criteria listed below:


* Automate routine administrative tasks through the use of utility script development, and application scripting technologies

* Provide technical support to Senior members of customers IT staff
* Prepare and present Executive-level briefings of complex technical solutions

* Create/Review thorough documentation for all infrastructure projects
.SUPERVISORY: NO
Education & Experience: BS - Computer Science, MCSE certification, or equivalent work experience.
* At least 10 years hands-on experience managing a large scale Messaging enterprise. Exchange 2003/Windows 2003 Active Directory infrastructure. Exchange 2007 experience mandatory.
* Knowledge of programming principles and command of Powershell, VBscript, and/or Windows shell scripting..
* 3+ years experience with IIS
* Strong capabilities to test Microsoft hotfixes and service packs and expert knowledge of Active Directory replication
* Knowledge of storage technologies such as RAID, VSS/Snapshots, SAN and NAS.
* Solid understanding of a 24x7 high availability mission-critical server infrastructure. Ability to create and manage Operational processes and procedures. Solid understanding of building scalable technology solutions.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary
* Must be self-motivated and highly professional with exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
* Broad knowledge of technical platforms, including Windows, Unix, networking, enterprise applications, and the functions of the IT department.
* Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
MCSE - Required
MCA - Microsoft Certified Architech strongly preferred.
B.S. in Computer Science or related experience - Required
